First Casual Dining Show deemed success

The two-day Casual Dining Show attracted 3,655 attendees from across the sector.

Combining a central trade show, with 118 exhibitors, and a series of talks from key industry figures, the successful show has already confirmed the dates for next year’s event, 25-26 February.

Operators were looking to expand their menu offerings and gain new insight into the rapidly developing market by attending the Keynote Theatre talks.

The high turnout for the show reflects the growth of the sector. The casual dining industry is worth £7bn, according to Peter Backman of Horizons.

“Big thanks really must go to all our exhibitors and partners who have supported the launch of the Casual Dining Show right from the start,” says Chris Brazier, group event manager.

“We knew that expectations were going to be high – particularly because there’s been nothing quite like it before. But the way it has been so positively received has been truly amazing.”
