Smith & Wollensky has appointed Tom Cook as executive head chef.
Cook’s experience includes roles within Skylon Restaurant, Le Pont de la Tour, Tom Aikens Restaurant and Pier Restaurant.
He has also worked with Gary Rhodes at City Rhodes, with Michel Roux Jr at Le Gavroche, and under Eric Eric Chavot at The Capital Hotel.
Cook will now be overseeing a brigade of 18 at Smith & Wollensky.
“I am extremely excited to join Smith & Wollensky and be involved in the continued development of the much-loved steak brand,” says Cook. “Over the next few months we will be recruiting and training in preparation for the significant growth being experienced at Smith & Wollensky.
