Mac & Wild has launched free experiences and masterclasses at its Devonshire Square site to educate customers on Scottish fare.
Tuesdays see a haggis-making taster masterclass, followed by a butchery taster experience on Wednesdays, both of which are led by Mac & Wild founder Andy Waugh. There are two sessions per evening, at 6pm and 8pm.
Thursdays are all about gin, where guests will have the opportunity to taste three of the restaurant’s favourite Scottish varieties.
Guests are transported to the Isle of Jura on Fridays through the use of virtual reality headsets for the Virtual Reality Jura Whisky Experience, during which they taste three Jura whiskies.
Again, there are two gin and whisky sessions per evening.
Saturdays are a mix of both the gin masterclass and whisky masterclass, at 1pm and 3pm.
Only customers that are booked to dine in the restaurant can book a free space on the masterclasses and experiences.
