Restaurants support hunger fighting charity Farm Africa

Casual dining restaurants are being urged to get involved with Dine for Good 2015, which is a £1 ‘on the bill’ fundraising campaign from hunger fighting charity Farm Africa.

Diners are encouraged to support Farm Africa by adding a voluntary donation of £1 to their bill during the campaign, which began 1 March and runs until 31 May 2015.

Current restaurants participating include Dinner by Heston Blumenthal (London), Les Deux Salons (London), Lucknam Park Hotel and Spa (Wiltshire), Simpsons Restaurant (Birmingham), The Cross Kenilworth (Warwickshire), The Fleur De Lis (Bristol), The New Angel (London), The New Rose (London), The Pony & Trap (Bristol), and The Stables Restaurant (St Albans).

Farm Africa helps African farmers feed themselves and their families – the £1 donation from diners could provide a farmer with 1kb of specialist seeds.

Visit Farm Africa’s website for more information on the campaign.
